An interesting question for a client to sit down and ask me today was....Is the reason for hair going darker this season, in response to the economy or Goveneor Palin's haircolor?
We discussed it for awhile. How did the question relate to my client and what she wanted. She just wanted to know that we did not have to follow the seasonal trend of darker hair color, She's a BLONDE! There were lowlights done last appointment 9 weeks ago, so none were needed this time. The hair was not bleached out from too much summer sun. Doing lowlights 2 times in a row can dull the hair dowm and darken it too much on the ends. So we did the same highlights, buttery blonde, no toning needed, YEAH!
So back to the client's question, I think it was a random one. But, there's other women asking the same question.
First, every fall color goes darker because of the overlightening of the hair from the summer sun.
Now for the Palin color question. finally a woman not trying to lighten her hair. It appears to be a nice brown auburn with a few blended (toned) streaks. The color looks sheik, BUT, that clip on the back of her head how jogger mom can she be on the podium. If Palin is wearing a 500$Italian glasses why the cheap 2$ clip. Hmmmm. I love a bargain, but.....

Just discovered this blog. There's some real substance here. Practical advice on maintaining a beautiful head of hair. Love it. As for Sarah Palin's puffy pulled-back coif, it drives me nuts. I think she could do better or just keep it down.
I know that half updo horn is quite annoying. At minimum, she should wear her hair down like the rest of us. Maybe I should send her one of my DVDs on how to style her hair.Anyone know her address?
