Hair Trends VS. Skirt Lengths

I'm sorry I have been away from blogging for so long. It's been hectic. I have changed salons and now I'm home. It feels good. So let me get started.

OK, ok maybe it was when Sarah Palin came onto the forefront that we took more notice to hair color. Or maybe it was because she wore her hair in that ratty old clip. I'm sorry! These clips are great and very useful in everyday wear, but not in an International arena or on national TV. There are other hair styles and devises that could have been worn in her hair. How about if I blog on that some day?

But today the trend is haircolor following skirt lengths. I just answered a query on hair trends, specically haircolor. The one trend that has receded is those chunky overly bold hilights. The higher the skirt length the lighter and brighter the color, like we have no cares in the world. When the economy stalls, the longer the hemline the darker the hair color. Voila! Burgundy reds or for this season of TV how about Vamp(ire) reds. Yep that's right, it's back with more radiance and depth.

I just hope that no one does the big chunky bleached out stripes with these deep reds, but I'm certain someone will attempt it. Good Luck!
