It just occurred to me on Thursday as I was teaching a class at The School of Paul Mitchell Systems, why my system is significant. The reason you hair Dries faster when you aim the nozzle of the hairdryer at your scalp (instead of just down the length of the hair shaft), is because..... The force of the heated air bounces off the scalp and down the hair shaft for about 6-8 inches, where the hair remains cold and damp. So, in reality you get 2 for one (1.) dry root area and the (2.)hair length starts to dry, too. so you are speeding up the process of drying your hair.
Remember only dry the scalp or root area to 80% dry, before you start paddle brushing the rest of your head.
That was a lightbulb moment.
